1. Enhance students' use of technology
  • Students indicate that they are comfortable using email, the project website and the Internet
  • Students use the Internet for researching a variety of academic subjects
  • Students use network resources (people other than the mentor) through email over the Internet to find needed information
  • Each match will have a weekly rapport with their mentors.
2. Students have increased interest in math and science
  • Students report on intending to take advanced high school classes
3. Assist students in their understanding of potential career opportunities in technical professions
  • Students indicate an increased interest in pursuing a career.
4. Students have an increased understanding of the competency skills needed to be successful in a hi-tech job.
